Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock having an electrical release means and a mechanical release means. SOLUTION: The door lock is released under normal operating conditions by an electric motor (28). Under degraded conditions, the mechanical release means of the lock is coupled in. This allows the motor providing the electrical release means of the lock to be simply capacity-dimensioned for release under normal operating conditions. As release of the lock is mechanical under degraded operating conditions, coupling-in is provided by a low-power standby motor (44).
