Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled vehicle needing no travel path for traveling, no redoing of construction even in a case of changing courses and no construction cost nor trouble of construction. SOLUTION: The self-propelled vehicle is characterized by that it can automatically travel even without a guidepath wire or the like by calculating a position of a vehicle body 1 by a radio wave from an artificial satellite 13, collating the present position with a prestored travel path storing means 39, determining an advancing direction, steering dirigible road wheels 2, controlling driving of driving wheels 3 and controlling it so it travels along a travel path set in the travel path storing means 39.
