Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formwork for a traffic strip, forming the traffic strip capable of effectively securing good appearance for a long period, and having superior manufacturing properties. SOLUTION: This formwork is manufactured by integrating a plurality of plate-shaped base materials 24 made of an aluminum plate-shaped extruded profiles and having rib-shaped projecting parts 16 on a face 12 providing a fixing face to cement and concrete of a side face part of the traffic strip, in a state that butt parts of end faces are frictionally stirred and joined. A pin at a tip of a rotating jig is inserted to the butt part from a fixing face side to cement and concrete under rotation, when the plurality of plate-shaped base materials are frictionally stirred and joined, and the butt parts are relatively moved to perform the frictional stirring and joining operation.
