Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ejector which improves ejector efficiency by reducing failures at a drive motor or a bearing, and giving forcible torque to a vaned rotor which is disposed opposite to a nozzle, and a refrigeration system employing the same. SOLUTION: The ejector which effects suction and/or pressure rise to a secondary fluid by a jet flow of a primary fluid is provided with the rotor 9 having vanes 10 which is disposed opposite to the nozzle 2 for jetting the primary fluid, and the drive motor 11 for rotating the rotor 9. The drive motor 11 is incorporated into a tail member 8 which is fixed in a diffuser 6. With the high-speed rotation of the rotor 9 having vanes 10, spiral pitch of a double spiral piston flow of the primary fluid and the secondary fluid jetted out from the nozzle 2, is made small.
