PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record time series data retroactively to a point of time, before recording is definitely started. SOLUTION: This time series data recording equipment records time series data and is provided with a control part, which is provided with a first feature detecting means for detecting first feature which becomes a candidate for a record starting point of the time series data, a temporary storage part for storing information, regarding a first point of time when the first feature, is generated and a second feature detecting means for detecting second feature which defines start of recording the time series data, a first recording part for recording the time series data after a second point of time, when the second feature is detected, and a second recording part for recording the time series data between the first point of time and the second point of time.
