Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical line testing and monitoring system capable of being applied to a communication system using a wavelength of a wide band by realizing the optical coupler module of small reflection, having the precipitous filter blocking characteristic. SOLUTION: In this optical line testing and monitoring system comprising the optical coupler module 12 for inputting and outputting the test light to an optical fiber 4 connecting light transmitters 2, 3, the filter 13 mounted just before the optical transmitter 3, transmitting the transmission light, and blocking the test light, a light measuring unit 18 for measuring the optical fiber 4, a test controller 19 for controlling the light measuring unit 18, and an operation terminal 8 for operating the test controller 19, and fiber Bragg grating filters 15a, 15b are respectively held between ports of each of two four-port optical circulator 14a, 14b arranged in series in the optical coupler module 12.
