Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a liquid jet recording head and to improve the productivity. SOLUTION: This liquid jet recording head comprises a recording element substrate 1 having provided thereon a plurality of recording elements, a wiring pattern sheet 3 which is provided to a portion covering the periphery of the recording element substrate 1 in order to transmit a recording signal to the recording element substrate 1, a circuit board 4 for receiving a recording signal from the external section by being electrically connected to one end of the wiring pattern sheet 3, and a fluid passage forming member 6 for supplying a recording liquid to the recording element substrate 1. One end portion of the circuit board 4 is supported by a passage forming member. When the fluid passage forming member 6 is connected to a frame 16 having a common liquid chamber 17, the circuit board 4 is held such that both of the opposing side ends at one end section of the circuit board 4 are inserted to a pair of engagement grooves 26 provided to the frame 16 in a condition that the other end section is supported by the fluid passage forming section 6.
