Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which a thermal energy that a combustion gas has is effectively utilized in starting, and in which a warming is made to be completed within a short time. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a humidification device 7 to add a pure water for humidification to an oxidizer gas and a fuel gas to be supplied to a fuel electrode 2 and an air electrode 3 of the fuel cell main body, a cooling system to cool the fuel cell main body by a cooling water, and a heat exchanger 15 to heat the cooling water by a combustion gas in which one part of the fuel gas and the oxidizer gas is made burned in low-temperatures of the system. Further, this is provided with a tank 19 to stock the pure water for the humidification, and in the low-temperatures of the system, the combustion gas exhausted from the heat exchanger 15 and the pure water stocked in a reservoir tank 19 are made to be heat-exchanged so that the pure water is heated.
