Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably remove noises without reducing the resolution of a functional image more than being required when the information of a blood stream kinetics is obtained from a tomographic image. SOLUTION: Regarding the tomographic image of a subject, a matrix size determining parameter for a peak value or an SD value or the like is calculated from a time-density curve which is extracted for each picture element. Then, an image filter (a filter having an optimal matrix size and a weighting or the like) corresponding to the parameter is determined (a step S201 to a step S206). Then, a smoothing process is performed by using the optimal image filter which is determined for each picture element (a step S207). This process is performed for all picture elements of the tomographic image, and the functional image is prepared. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
