Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning device having a high removal efficiency for the chemical contaminants contained in the air, compact in processing device design, low in pressure loss, and low in cost. SOLUTION: The air cleaning device 40 is equipped with a humidification part 10 comprising a first air lead-in port 11, a first water supplying means 12, humidifying means 13, a first air exhaust port 14, etc., and a condensation part 20 comprising a second air lead-in port 21 provided in continuity to the first air exhaust port 14, a second water supplying means 22, condensing means 23, etc., wherein the humidifying means 13 and condensing means 23 are furnished with inclined honeycomb 1 made of metal whose front and rear surfaces and top and bottom surfaces are left open in such a way that the front surface faces the first and second air lead-in ports 11, 21 and the led-in air passes inside through, and the first and second water supplying means 12 and 22 are installed on the top surface of the honeycomb 1.
