Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus which can be relatively easily attached to an existing faucet without removing the faucet, and does not degrade the function and operational ease of the faucet. SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus 1 is attached to the faucet 5 which is constructed by screwing a spout pipe 2 into an outlet 4 by a screw member 3, and has already been set in a wall surface W. The water treatment apparatus 1 is formed of an inlet 6, a raw water exhaust port 8, a water treatment means 9, a treated water exhaust port 10, a treated water exhaust pipe 11, and a switching means 12. The inlet 6 is connectable to the outlet 4 by means of a screw member 7. The spout pipe 2 has been removed from the outlet 4 by loosening the screw member 3. The raw water exhaust port 8 allows raw water having flown from the inlet 6 to pass therein to be discharged from the same. The water treatment means 9 allows raw water having flown from the inlet 6 to undergo predetermined treatment. The treated water exhaust port 10 and the processed water exhaust pipe 11 function to discharge the treated water having passed through the water treatment means 9. The switching means 12 guides the raw water having flown from the inlet 6 selectively to the raw water exhaust port 8 or the water treatment means 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
