Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination of recommended contents needed for a screen which a user uses. SOLUTION: A contents recommending process part 102 of a contents management device 100 retrieves from a DB 106 a set of the contents ID and contents area ID of contents related to the user by use of the user ID input, and using the retrieved set and the user ID, retrieves from a DB 107 information showing the frequency at which each content is used; retrieves from a DB 104 user operation results by use of the user ID; and calculates the rated value of each content based on the information showing the frequency at which each content is used and the user's operation results. A contents display process part arranges the contents in positions on a screen which correspond to the content area IDs of the contents, from the contents with the upper rated value, to create display information for displaying the contents on the screen.
