PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip member for micro chemical system that can surely condense light to a submerged sample in an analyzing flow passage even when a condenser lens is fixedly positioned, and to provide an analyzer using the chip member. SOLUTION: This chip member for micro chemical system is composed of a rectangular plate-like glass-made channel plate 11 and a rectangular plate-like glass-made cover plate 12 joined to the upper surface of the plate 11 and having a projecting section protruded from the upper surface of the plate 11. A thermal lens analyzer 20 has a rectangular plate-like frame 21 for placing the chip 10 and the frame 21 has a top face 21a against which the projecting section of the cover plate 12 is pressed and a rectangular recessed section 21b in which the channel plate 11 of the chip 10 is housed at the central part of the top face 21a. The chip 10 is fixed on the frame 21 in a state where the projecting section of the cover plate 12 is held on the top face 21a of the frame 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
