Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve batteries packaged with labels, especially, at easiness in peeling in the case of need of the labels to be peeled off from the surface of the battery, while securing stability of a packaged form. SOLUTION: With the battery in which a label with a thermosensitive adhesive layer formed on a heat-contracting label material is wound around a waist part of the battery to attach with a starting edge part of the winding piled and bonded on a finishing edge part of the winding and a protruding end edge part of the battery waist part protruding outward from its either side is bonded to a peripheral edge in a holding manner by heat contraction, bonding strength of the piled bonding part of the starting edge part and the finishing end part of the winding after an elapse of time of 1 to 10 Hr after the label winding and bonding is adjusted at 4.0 N/15 mm or more, and bonding strength onto the body surface of the battery at 1.5 N/15 mm or less. Adjustment of the bonding strength is made by a degree of treatment of corona discharge of the adhesive layer, a control of a heat-activated temperature or the like in a label mounting process.
