Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a main body of a vacuum cleaner on a step of the stairway without slipping down the stairway when cleaning the stairway by improving the structure of the vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: The front side of the main body of the vacuum cleaner is formed outside a car so that the lower side of the grasping part of a dust collection chamber can be abutted on the surface of a step where the car is positioned while placing at an edge of an upper step and on both the sides of a lower surface on the front side of the main body of the vacuum cleaner, roller casters are provided for placing at the edge of the upper step.
