Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discount method which efficiently improves sales share in information processing related to sales of commodity or service. SOLUTION: A supplier 13 sets a discount condition 17 depending on the share of own commodity/competitive commodity (P3). When a purchaser 14 purchases the commodity (P4), a seller 15 makes an inquiry for discounting (p5), and an intermediary 12 determines the discount form (discounting sales, issue of coupon ticket) depending on the share at the present time with reference to a commodity purchase history 16 and discount condition 17, and sends the discount information to the seller 15 (P6).
