Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental information system analyzing measured information so that the degree of the influence of a measured substance on a human body may be easily exactly determined. SOLUTION: The environmental information system 10 includes a server 12, base stations 14-26, and portable terminals 28-38. Information including PRTR information, MSDS, measured information or the like are provided to the server 12 from Internet 40, an input portion 44, a measuring device 72 in the base station 26, and a measuring device 94 in the portable terminal 38 or the like and are stored in a hard disk 47. The information are sent to each of the base stations 14-26. In the base stations 14-26, analyzed information on the influence of the substance on the human body is created, based on the information by means of a CPU 60. The analyzed information is sent through terminal communication equipment 68 to the portable terminals 28-38 present in a communication region responsible for each of the base stations 14-26. The portable terminals 28-38 receive through communication equipment 92 in the base stations the analyzed information to display the analyzed information on a display 84. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
