SOLUTION: An optical fiber capable (c) held to a spiral hanger (h) wound around a messenger wire (w) is branched by an anchoring metal fitting A latched to a hook (b) of a branching metal fitting B assembled to the messenger wire (w). The anchoring metal fitting A is arranged, with insertion notches 3 alternately arranged, along both sides of a band-shaped metal fitting body 1 which is formed of a thin metal sheet with its one end in the longitudinal direction being a latching part.
