PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enrichment method of a gas by which a specific easily adsorbable gas contained in a gaseous mixture is highly enriched by using a pressure swing adsorption method or the like. SOLUTION: The gas enrichment method enriches the specific gas contained in the gaseous mixture using a pair of adsorption columns in each of which an adsorbent adsorbing the specific gas is filled. In the 1st process in which, after the gaseous mixture is made to pass through one adsorption column 11a under a low pressure condition, the gas discharged from the adsorption column 11a is made to pass through another adsorption column 11b under the high pressure condition. In the 2nd process in which, after the gaseous mixture is made to pass through the other adsorption column 11b under the low pressure condition, the gas discharged from the other adsorption column 11b is made to pass through the adsorption column 11a under the high pressure condition. The first and second processes are alternately repeated with a pressure equalization process interposed. A part of the gas passing through the one or the other adsorption column 11a, 11b under the low pressure condition in the 1st process and the 2nd process is recovered. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
