Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a read-out time and to obtain a DRAM having no waste such as duplicated access or the like. SOLUTION: This memory is provided with column selecting switches 5 connected to bit lines (BL) of a memory cell 1, a column decoder 6 turning on in order the column selecting switches 5 excluding for the last column (255) based on a supplied column address, an output amplifier 9 connected to the column selecting switch 5, an output amplifier 10 connected to the bit line of the memory cell 1 of the last column (255) and operated in a pre-charge period, and a selector 11 selecting output data of the output amplifier 9 at the time of normal mode and selecting output data of the output amplifier 10 at the time of picture processing mode.
