Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce a ratio of dust flowing into a bypass flow passage to sufficiently protect a measurement element from the dust by separating the dust from a fluid before the fluid flows into the bypass flow passage. SOLUTION: An air flow meter 1 has a main body part 2 formed with the bypass flow passage 21 inside an intake pipe 100, and the measurement element 3 disposed inside the bypass flow passage 21. The main body part 2 is provided with a louver 5 such that the louver 5 hides a part or all of an inlet 21d of the bypass flow passage 21 in a view from the upstream side of the intake pipe 100.
