Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminated push-button switch that is simple and sturdy and has a good feeling of pushing, and an illumination mechanism that is capable of realizing full-color emission without making the substrate and connector large. SOLUTION: This is an illuminated push-button switch which comprises a nearly cylindrical case 10, a button that is inserted at one end of this nearly cylindrical case 10 and is capable of sliding for a prescribed distance along the direction to the other end and is made of a translucent material, a movable plate 12 that moves together with this button 11 and transmits the pushing pressure of the button 11 to the switch mechanism, a coil spring 13 that energizes this button 11 and the movable plate 12 toward the above one end direction, a substrate 14 that supports this coil spring 13 and has an illumination mechanism and the switch mechanism, and a bottom cover 15 that is engaged with the other end of the case 10 and fixedly supports the above substrate 14.
