Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary device capable of controlling toilet environment in accordance with use situation and saving energy consumption amount effectively. SOLUTION: This sanitary device is provided with a toilet use detection means 46 for detecting the use of a toilet and a toilet environment control means for controlling toilet environment 33, 47 for a predetermined period of time based on an output of the toilet use detection means 46. The control of the toilet environment 33, 47 is started based on the use of a first user in the morning. When the user uses the toilet comparatively frequently after that, the control of the toilet environment 33, 47 into a comfortable condition is continued. When the user does not use the toilet so frequently, the toilet environment 33, 47 is controlled by giving priority to saving of energy consumption amount.
