Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce positional shift between a heating resistor and an ink ejection nozzle. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing an ink jet print head comprising a nozzle sheet 2 having ink ejection nozzles 3 formed therein, a head frame 4 supporting the nozzle sheet 2, a substrate member 6 having heating resistors 8, and a channel plate 12 for supplying ink wherein the linear expansion coefficients of the head frame 4, the substrate member 6 and the channel plate 12 are substantially equal, and the linear expansion coefficient of the nozzle sheet 2 is larger than those of the head frame 4, the substrate member 6 and the channel plate 12, the nozzle sheet 2 and the head frame 4 are bonded under a temperature environment higher than the room temperature, the nozzle sheet 2 and the substrate member 6 are bonded under a temperature environment higher than the room temperature but lower than the temperature at the time when bonding the nozzle sheet 2 and the head frame 4. The channel plate 12 and the nozzle sheet 2, and the head frame 4 and the substrate member 6 are bonded under a temperature environment lower than the temperature at the time when bonding the nozzle sheet 2 and the head frame 4.
