Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a colored resin composition not generating scattering of a pigment and harmless (1), capable of being employed industrially (2), having good quality such as dispersibility or the like (3), and excellent in transparency (4) using an azo type pigment. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the colored resin composition, the azo type pigment is dispersed in a thermoplastic resin by kneading the thermoplastic resin and the azo type pigment using a single-screw extruder and/or a twin-screw extruder having high dispersibility.
