Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the setting of a frequency channel easily to an optimum frequency channel, and avoid changing a frequency channel during communication. SOLUTION: To set a frequency channel which is to be used when transmitting and receiving radio data, according to a direct diffusion spectrum system, between a radio communication device and a radio communication terminal, a permission for change of the frequency channel is recognized by the operation of an operation input 22 by a user, and an access point 3 is controlled so that it may investigate the parameter value concerned with wave state pertaining to all frequency channels in radio data by means of an investigation processor 31, and a frequency channel is selected, based on the investigated parameter value, and the frequency channel of the access point 3 is set so that it may perform communication with the selected frequency channel.
