Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of scab due to hot cracking in a cold rolled sheet even if Sn content in raw materials in increased by increase of the mixed amount of scrap iron. SOLUTION: When extracting a steel stock containing <=0.20 mass% Sn as a tramp element and used for austenitic stainless steel sheet from a heating furnace, extraction temperature is regulated, according to the Sn content in the steel stock, to a value not higher than the upper limit value (TLSn ) represented by the following equation: TLSn =2083×[Sn] -812.5×[Sn]+1295( deg.C) (wherein, TLSn is the upper limit value of the extraction temperature of the Sn-containing steel stock from the heating furnace, ( deg.C); and [Sn] is the Sn content in the steel, (mass%)).
