Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the lid structure for an electric pot compact and to provide the stop valve structure for a lid in which natural discharge does not occur even when the lid is intensively closed strongly more than needed, for example. SOLUTION: In the electric pot provided with a vessel body having an inner vessel, where a content liquid is put in, a lid body to be freely opened/closed in respect to the vessel body and a pump for discharging the content liquid from a spout, the lid body is equipped with a steam pass for releasing steam in the vessel body, a steam port formed in the atmosphere opening part of the steam pass and provided on the rear hinge side of the lid body, a valve seat provided on the steam pass, a stop valve to be freely abutted to the valve seat and an inner lid member provided while facing the opening on the vessel body, and the stop valve is moved laterally.
