Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for limiting the number of packet flows transferred from a server to each of clients to an upper limit of the number of the connected clients in communication between the server and the clients, and to provide a router. SOLUTION: The router is provided with a connection discrimination section 150 that discriminates whether or not the number of packets exceeds the upper limit of the number of the clients which can be connected to the server SV on the opportunity of reception of a packet with respect to the connection between the server SV and the clients CL, and a path setting section 80 that transmits a message to reserve a band between two routers for relaying the packet between the clients and the server when the connection discrimination section discriminates the possibility of the connection. |
