PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing advertisement information by which proper advertisement information corresponding to a place where an advertisement is presented can be obtained. SOLUTION: The method for providing advertisement information for displaying an access key including a place identification symbol characteristic of the place where the advertisement is presented in the advertisement and providing the advertisement information on the basis of the access key has a process of accepting user's access to a server having the address represented in the advertisement, a process of obtaining the access key of the advertisement from the user, a process of extracting an advertisement identification symbol of the advertisement and the place identification symbol showing the presentation place of the advertisement from the access key, a process of specifying the presentation place of the advertisement by searching a position information database on the basis of the place identification symbol, a process of obtaining map information by searching an advertisement database on the basis of the advertisement identification symbol and presentation place, and a process of returning the obtained map information to the user having accessed the server.
