Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abrasion of a base material when peeling a water soluble polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer-containing viscous liquid on the base material such as a steel belt and formation of a film on the surface of the base material caused by a residue of the polymer after peeling off the polymer. SOLUTION: This method for producing the water soluble polymer is to polymerize a monomer-containing viscous liquid by putting the viscous liquid on the base material into which the viscous liquid does not penetrate after bringing the viscous liquid to be a discontinuous shape such as dewdrops or the like with leaving areas on which the viscous liquid is not spread on the base material. |
