Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the risk of a conventional wind-power generator which supplies a power system with the power which marring quality due to short cycles of fluctuations that it cannot respond by the pitch control of a windmill or the output control of a power rectifier. SOLUTION: The power system can be supplied with a proper quality of power where power ripples are suppressed, by providing a generator with a controller which outputs commands of charging a DC capacitor 4 with DC power, when the output of a synchronous generator 2 connected to the shaft of a windmill 1 increases, and lowering the terminal voltage across the DC capacitor 4 and discharging DC power to the inverter 5 from the DC capacitor 4 to an inverter 5, when the output of the synchronous motor 2 decreases. |
