Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carrying out cleaning or chipping of a paved surface effectively at low cost, using a minimum number of jetting nozzles, and producing stable cavitations in liquid from the nozzles. SOLUTION: A processing apparatus for the paved surface has the jetting nozzles 17a for jetting pressure water onto the paved surface h to process it. In operating the apparatus, the surrounding of the jetting outlet 51 of the jetting nozzle 17a is enclosed to form a liquid storing part T1 for storing liquid therein on the paved surface h, and the jetting outlet 51 is arranged in the liquid in the storing part T1 so as to allow the pressure water jetted from the jetting outlet 51 to produce the cavitations. Further, a plurality of the jetting outlets 51 are arranged in a staggered manner in a plan view so that respective spray ranges of the pressure water jetted from each jetting outlet 51 does not interfere with each other, and restraint plates 60 are provided between the jetting outlets 51 and the surface of the liquid in the storing part T1 .
