Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a concentrate burner so as to efficiently optimize it. SOLUTION: The method for controlling the concentrate burner in a flash smelting furnace comprises making an equation for overall reaction rate, in which all reactions, heats, and grains in the flash smelting furnace are considered at a time, and setting a parameter in the equation to a desired value to control the concentrate burner. The reactions in a flash furnace can be modeled by making the equation considering the all reactions, heats, and grains in the flash smelting furnace at a time. The concentrate burner can be efficiently optimized, because the reactions in the flash smelting furnace can be simulated by appropriately changing the value of factors constituting the equation. |
