Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly start up a fuel cell system provided with a CO remover which generates fuel gas by lowering density of carbon monoxide of reformed gas reforming source gas, a fuel cell generating electromotive force by making fuel gas generated in the CO remover react with air, a combustor for combusting unreacted hydrogen in exhaust gas of the fuel cell and a cooling water circuit in which cooling water for adjusting the fuel cell at given temperature is circulated. SOLUTION: A CO remover (35) and a combustor (51) are connected to cooling water circuit (60). A start control part (71) heats cooling water of the cooling water circuit (60) with the combustor (51) at star, heats the fuel cell (10) with cooling water heated, and at the same time, heats the CO remover (35) up to start temperature. |
