Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote starting device for an internal combustion engine while the structure of its vehicle stopping device is maintained. SOLUTION: An immobilizer control means 6 of an electronic device 1 of a vehicle permits actuation of the body 3 of its internal combustion engine only when the permission confirming signal given from a resonance signal producing means 46 through an oscillative sensing means 7 is identical to the specific signal. A setting means 70 of a starter control means 11 works in the setting mode to introduce the permission confirming signal transmitted between the means 7 and the control means 6 and stores it in a memory 67 as a pseudo- permission confirming signal. In the remote starting operation, a pseudo-signal producing/feeding means 64 works in the execute mode to produce the pseudo- permission confirming signal from the memory 67, gives it to a signal confirming means 32, and thereby makes the control means 6 permit actuation of the body 3 the internal combustion engine. This allows the vehicle stopping motion and the remote starting motion to work simultaneously without changing the number of input and output terminals of the control means 6 and without changing the motion of the signal confirming means 32.
