Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a speech when a slave device for power failure is making a speech at the time of realizing power resupply to a telephone device. SOLUTION: A power failure transmission path 10B for connecting a line switching part 11 to a slave device 3 for power failure is provided with a speech detecting part 13, and when a main device 2 is put in a power failure, and a speech by the salve device 3 for power failure is detected through the speech detecting part 13, the switching control of a switching control part 12 is stopped by a control part 14. Also, an extension transmission path 10C at a main device 2 side from the switching control part 12 is provided with a power supply control part 15 for controlling power supply from the main device 2, and when a speech by a slave device 3 for power failure is detected, the power supply control part 15 is controlled to an open state by the control part 14 so that power supply from the main device 2 to the slave device 3 for power failure and to the switch control part 12 can be stopped.
