Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user about disabled transmission to an opposite party without the need for transmitting a setup signal to the opposite party when the communication opposite party is in an inactive operation state in a VoIP system. SOLUTION: A communication switch management apparatus connected to an IP network transmits a prescribed command to an IP address of a particular opposite party in a communication free timing, checks a response from the opposite party receiving the command, and grasps the operating state of the particular opposite party. When the apparatus grasps that the particular opposite party is in an inactive operation state, the apparatus informs a plurality of communication terminals about it. Each of a plurality of the communication terminals informs each user about the disabled transmission to the particular opposite party by flashing a key for transmission to the particular opposite party at a prescribed time interval or by other method. |
