Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp enhancing adhesion in spite of reducing an adhesive and preventing the breakage or cracks of a globe, and to provide a luminaire with the compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp installed. SOLUTION: This compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp 1 is composed of a partition means comprising a plurality of projections 5 installed in the peripheral direction of a cover 4 on the inner surface of the cover between an opening periphery 4c of the cover 4 and a holder 3; an adhesive 12 filled in the opening periphery 4c of the cover 4 or between the holder 3 and the partition means 5; and a translucent globe 6 having a blocking part at one end 6a and an opening part 6c at the other end 6b, containing a fluorescent lamp 2, and fixed to the cover 4 by embedding an opening part 6c in the adhesive 12.
