Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inorganic water-treating agent and its preparation method, improved in purification and deodorization functions. SOLUTION: The inorganic water-treating agent is formed in granulates by mixing powder of zeolite of 20-60 parts, yellow soil of 10-50 parts, illite of 10-40 parts, photocatalyst titanium dioxide of 0-10 parts per the whole of 100 parts by weight. Water is added as a binder with the above powder, and the mixture is kneaded into ball or pellet shape. Pellets (30×30×150 mm) are preliminarily dried at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time. The pellets are dried in a drying furnace at 300-650 deg.C at temperature rise rate of 1-10 deg.C per minute, the pellets are held in that state for 1-6 h, then naturally dried. |
