Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive gel having a strong adhesion and a stable releasing property, and not causing a damage of the gel on peeling a protective film off. SOLUTION: This adhesive gel in which a non cross-linked water soluble polymer having 4,000-15,000,000 weight-average molecular weight and water are held in a polymer matrix obtained by copolymerizing a polymerizable monomer with a cross-linking monomer, is provided by containing 0.1-5.0 wt.% water soluble polymer in the gel which has 1.96-19.6 N adhesion to 12 mm stainless steel and 0.196-1.96 N/0.02 m peeling strength at 90 deg. against a biaxially oriented polyester film.
