Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect printed matters from respective printers efficiently in correct order when a volume of print is carried out by means of a plurality of printers based on a designation from a host computer. SOLUTION: When specified pages of one document are printed sequentially by means of printers A, B and D, the printer A performing print operation at first prints the name of next printer on the first or last page in addition to a specified number of pages of the document. The printer B performing print operation next prints the name of next printer on the first or last page in addition to a specified number of pages of the document.
