Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently measure the temperature or joint gap quantity of a rail to reduce the load on a measuring person. SOLUTION: A sequence key 28 is provided to a measuring instrument main body 2 and, immediately after the gathering number of a rail group to be measured is designated, the sequence key 28 designates whether measuring sequence is canonical or inverse. When the measuring sequence is canonical, a rail discrimination number is successively displayed canonically so as to perform measurement in a predetermined direction and, when the measuring sequence is inverse, the rail discrimination number is successively displayed inversely so as to perform measurement in the direction inverse to the predetermined direction. |
