Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel in which by utilizing a dead space existing in a rear inside of a spool, a large breaking force is obtained, the direct attaching and the intrusion of water, dust, etc., into a breaking device are prevented, and stable breaking performance is obtained. SOLUTION: Inside a large-diameter space 2g existing in a rear inside of a fishline winding cylinder 2h of a spool 2, an outer holding body 5 of a braking device A is fitted with whirl-stop and prevented from coming off. The braking device A has an inner holding body 7 supported via a holding member 3 held by a spool shaft 1. The inner holding body 7 has a truncated cone-shaped cylinder 7a. On the tapered surface 7b of the cylinder, a plurality of grooves 7c tilted against the shaft direction are formed, and rolling members 27 are placed in the grooves. The rolling members 27 are held between the outer holding member 5 having a tapered surface 5a and the inner holding member 7 having the tapered surface 7b. When the spool 2 is rotated against the spool shaft 1, a slid friction force is generated on the rolling members 27 due to taper screw effect, and braking acts on the rotation of the spool 2. |
