Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify metal molds for manufacturing a coil that is molded with a resin, and to reduce amount of the molding resin to economize the material, for a coil to be used in static induction electromagnetic equipment. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a molded coil is constituted such that an inner circumferential insulator 2, a conductor, and interlayer insulators are wound around a coil bobbin 1 to form an elemental coil 3a, the outer circumference of the elemental coil is covered by winding an outer circumferential insulator 4, an opening formed between the ends of the outer circumferential insulator is utilized as a pass opening for lead wires of the elemental coil, terminal molds 5 are arranged on the outer circumferential insulator with seals thereon so that the pass opening for lead wires of the elemental coil is positioned between the terminal molds 5, side plates 9 are attached on both side-ends of the inner circumferential insulator, the outer circumferential insulator, and the terminal molds through buffer material members 10, and resin is injected from a resin injecting opening 11 of the terminal molds and is cured to manufacture the molded coil.
