Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating abrasion rate of fluid particles in a pressurized fluidized bed combustion device, and a method for predicting particle size distribution of the fluid particles in the pressurized fluidized bed combustion device, which enables prediction of desulfurizing performance and estimation of heat transfer coefficient to a heat exchanger, provides good workability by preventing working steps from becoming excessive in crushing and selecting particle size of a desulfurizer, and provides good stability and controllability of the fluidized bed. SOLUTION: The method for predicting particle size distribution of fluid particles in the pressurized fluidized bed combustion device comprises a step for measuring particle size distribution of supplied desulfurizer and obtaining weight fraction fj-1 of the desulfurizer having a particle size Dp ,j-1 , and a step for calculating weight W×wj-1 (t+Δt) of particles having a particle size D, which exist in the fluidized bed after lapse of time Δt, based on the weight fraction fj-1 , a supply speed F of the desulfurizer, particle weight W of the fluid particles that are present in the fluidized bed, and extraction weight B of the fluid particles extracted from the fluidized bed.
