Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mushroom culture medium in view of the fact that mushroom culture which is presently conducted is facility culture using containers such as boxes, bags and bottles, being filled with culture medium mainly having sawdust recently changed from conventional culture by log, but there are many problems remaining to be eliminated such as high cost, instability of production volume due to contamination by various germs, seasonality of production and restriction of production volume controlled by container volume. SOLUTION: The mushroom culture medium is such one as to exhibit the function of the medium, unlike mushroom culture medium which has been utilized as a source of nutrient, through soaking artificially prepared nutrient into the basis thereof even if a structure as a basis does not necessarily become the source of nutrient of mushroom. Freezing or cold storage preservation technique for hypha including carpophore anlage enables efficient extension of a culture period and year-round culture if using day length and temperature control, besides production increase.
