Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a high speed projectile (B) exhibiting a self sharpening effect for invading through an object (T) while shear fracturing it locally. SOLUTION: In the projectile (B), tungsten particles (1) as a high specific gravity material and metal glass particles of metal glass (amorphous metal) are bonded integrally under such a state as the tungsten particles (1) are dispersed, as a matrix layer (2), between the metal glass particles. When the projectile (B) collides against an object (T), the projectile (B) invades through the object (B) while shear fracturing it locally by the matrix layer (2) of the metal glass particles. |
