Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact automatic drawer unit capable of dispensing with a rack and a pinion gear and facilitating assembly to a drawer type storage device. SOLUTION: This automatic drawer unit consists of a basic body 1 fixed to a holder main body 6, a reel 2 held turnably on the basic body 1, and a constant spring 3 whose one end is wound around and held on the reel 2 and the other end is held in a case 5 and is self-energized in the direction of winding attitude. Since a distance between one end and the other end of the constant spring 3 becomes long when storing the holder main body 6 in the case 5 and an energizing force is stored, the holder main body 6 advances automatically due to its energizing force when it is drawn from the case 5. This automatic drawer unit is assembled to various drawer type storage devices to draw out a drawer member automatically.
