Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both an aseptic pack of cooked rice containing devil's-tongue, affording a low-caloric simple food suitable for dieting and edible by heating in a microwave oven because the taste of rice is sufficiently soaked into devil's-tongue grains and rice grains cannot be discriminated from devil's-tongue grains in texture with a small intake of rice even when the food in an amount providing the sense of fullness is eaten by cooking rice and devil's-tongue grains with good soaking of a taste in a suitable proportion and thereby soaking proteins and starches dissolved out from the rice into bubbles of the devil's-tongue grains and a method for producing the aseptic pack. SOLUTION: This aseptic pack is obtained as follows. Rice and devil's-tongue grains with the good soaking of the taste are housed in a prescribed ratio in a steam or a gas type rice cooker 9 and cooked in a chamber 8 for passing a bacteriostatic gas therethrough. The resultant cooked rice containing the devil's-tongue is then housed in a cooked rice stirrer 10 and sufficiently stirred to uniformly mix the rice grains with the devil's-tongue grains. Thereby, the cooked rice containing the devil's-tongue having a puffy feeling is obtained. A cooked rice outlet of the cooked rice stirrer 10 is subsequently opened to transfer the cooked rice containing the devil's-tongue to a cooked rice stuffing device 11 having flattening functions and metering functions for the delivering amount. A prescribed amount of the cooked rice containing the devil's-tongue is then stuffed in a tray T and covered with a lid film F1. The peripheral edge of the film F1 is heat-sealed in a flange part of the tray T. |
